I never quite understood that. If you hate something, you generally abstain from it. Could it be the narcissism of the poster that prevents him from allowing dialogue to take place without his contribution, no matter how much he hates the place in which he is playing? Is that poster simply a victim of his own competitive nature, unable to pass by a basketball court without attempting a dunk, even though he hates basketball and is too short to make a dunk?

I hate eggplant. But if every time you ran into me in the grocery store, and you saw my basket overflowing with eggplant, what lasting impression would you walk away with?
