I'm going to point out that this thread seems like it is quickly heading down the same road that got the Politics forum deleted. I said before and now again that I'm not happy about losing it but I do understand why it it was deleted; I'm also not going to cry if it doesn't come back. Too often the conversations went around in circles and as it did the posts became shallower and more barbs were thrown back and forth. There was a conservative "gang" mentality that was evident in some threads and I do believe that needed to stop. Other people posted things that were downright ludicrous and only meant to incite (both sides were guilty of this). My point is that if we can't calmly discuss the merits of having a politics forum then we shouldn't hold any hope of getting it back.
