Clearly this song strikes a chord with me for some reason. The reason, in case you care to know why, is I work with a bunch of back-stabbing MF's that thrive on pulling each other down and stabbing each other in the back every chance they get.
Oh, and the irony of it all is they just promoted me and I'm the most easy-going and laid-back guy in the company. WTF?
This song liberates me to some extent.
The military doesn't fall far from the Civilian Tree so to speak. Promotions should be and are based on potential.
