Tom, I hope they weren't referring to the "races" for the bearings...they should be replaced too. As for LES/Steve, your backlash is critical. Les, I would have them check the backlash and install new bearings...same for you Steve, I'm afraid.. If you want to come up here, we could look at it...but I think you have a handle on it... I love the crap out of these rearend now...just like my old muscle cars, very predictable...
