Default Hit the 1/4 yesterday and trapped 116 mph.

Last time out I was getting Air/Fuel ratio's in the 14's above 5K RPM's, which was causing me to short-shift to keep it safe. My trap speed back then was 110-111 MPH.

Subsequently I installed a larger fuel pump to deal with the lean condition and went back to the track to see what the results would be. Running on street tires I had a horrible 60' of 2-2.1 seconds. The best ET I could muster was a 12.31, but it's the trap speed that tells the tale.

I picked up 5-6 MPH in the 1/4, going from a 111 trap to 116.

Here's a quick video of one of the runs:

This video shows a lot of smoke coming from the tailpipes of a Mustang that blew a head gasket or something while racing me. I really felt sorry for the guy. We were side-by-side at the 1/8th. I starting pulling hard and pulling past him, and that's when I think he hit the nitrous. He caught back up, but before the 1/4 the entire track was full of smoke.
