Maybe they have landed before, maybe they are still here or maybe they will never come.
They have never been here and will NEVER get here.
Maybe they are really small and maybe they are bigger than we could ever imagine.
Ok, now THIS is an interesting thought. Odd how all "aliens" are conviently the same general size as us, isn't it? 
I do. Interstellar travel? Not gonna happen.
If they do come we will be in big trouble, because they will be smarter than us, that's not really too hard though is it?
We could be their pets for all we know.
We could very well be viewed as unintelligent life, or life so insignificant that we don't matter and don't deserve compassion, fair treatment or anything else.
