I got my diff back from Unitrax on Friday. I dropped it off at the shop and they called me today that it was ready. I went by on the way home from work, and took it for a test drive. It had rain about 10 minutes before, and the streets were slick. DAMN that back end just loves to come out!

So I went over to the nearby highway and took it up to speed to see if I was getting any gear whine or if I could detect any issues. At about 75mph I started getting a major vibration from the back. It got worse as I sped up. By 85mph it was severe enough that I could even feel it in the steering wheel (but it was definitely coming from the back).

So it went back to the shop. It might be my tires. They needed replaced before I did the Wavetrac, but I don't remember any major vibration. Hmmm...

Tomorrow after work, I'll take up my old stock rims with the old stock tires on them and we'll mount them up, just to see if it is the tires or not. I hope it's just tires. I can't imagine what it could be if it isn't, but I know that it will be expensive. Ugh.

Tom mine did the same thing on rear #2,,,if the springs did not seat then you will get a vibration that will scare you it is so bad,, they need to pop the spring into place ,,,it will then be fine. poped mine in with a pry bar. jim
