thanks james - I'm a rookie to this forum, I've had my 2005 crossfire for a month now - love the car, the handling, the style, almost everything about it, however.....she's got some quirks ...but with fellas like you and all your help I'll manage to continue loving this car - thanks again






I removed the two original hooks and put them away for safe keeping.



I checked my spare bracket box and found some that looked like they would work.



I mounted the brackets using the existing mounting holes and screws. This can be changed back to OEM in a matter of minutes.



My next stop to the hardware store I plan to purchase some black finish screws to replaced the chrome ones. Actually these aren't noticable once the seat backs are in position.



Now it is all secure and can be changed back in minutes but I don't why I would.



If you decide to make the following mod, be sure to use only this name brand. As stated before, the Walmart/Advanced Auto may not work the same way becasue of dimensions.
