There are three main parts to the security system, one is under the dash, the SCREEM module and the others are in the trunk. The one in the trunk, the CLP/SSM can be damaged by leaking water in the trunk, there is another part beside this pump unit and I have forgotten the name of this.
Have a look under the foam block under the mat in the trunk on the right side. If there is water in the well in which the pump sits you have probably found your problem.
