Your 2 cents is what made me remember that I wanted to probably step down to a stage 2 in lieu of the stage 2+. My reason for this was hoping that the stage 2 clutch would last longer than the OEM but go out before any other components were damaged. In the excitement of getting torque capacities I just jumped strait to the number that looked best without thinking past that.
I was thinking the exact same now, but stage 3 initially. I would rather replace the clutch at stage 2 then an entire tranny. That being said, I read in other posts that people were under the assumption the tranny would hold up to 400 ft/lbs but not the clutch and flywheel... Can that be confirmed or denied? If that is true then in theory stage 2+ or even 3 would be ideal right?
