Over the weekend I injured my back and the doctor says I have a ruptured disc which is also causing sciatic nerve pain in my left leg. The meds are working and I think I can get out of bed today! I did speak to Corky and he is in the process of nailing down the date to receive Proto !. Once we have that date we need to get deposits in about a week before proto 1 arrives. I will have more updates on timing, costs deposits etc within a couple of days. I have been using my down time to read Corky's book. anyone who doesn't have one should get one. It is a great book and really shows Corky's approach and engineering knowledge regarding turbo's. One of the things I found very interesting is that the key to making lots of safe HP, intake temps are extreamly important and boost alone doesn't make HP.
Luckily, winter's here.. (Did I rly just say that??) .. so the decision on the clutch can wait 'til spring. By then, the decision will likely be made for me based on this group's findings.
Here's some irony for ya... I'm off work with a herniated or ruptured disc as well... My MRI is next Wednesday...
