Re: BEGi Crossfire Turbo Kit by Bell Experimental Group
Hey guys, Here is the latest:
Deposits are due one week before the first Crossfire arrives at BEGi. Corky preferes checks but credit card is a possiblily if needed. He got burned bad on a credit card transaction by a foriegn buyer so he tries to avoid credit cards if possible. Corky has talked to DJ and I believe they are down to two possible dates which are Jan. 6th and Jan. 13th. Corky will fly to El Paso and meet DJ and drive the Crossfire back to his San Antonio shop.
BelowHere is the latest from Corky. Let me know if this causes any issues for anyone. Corky is willing to work with a buyer if needed. He is a great guy and said anyone is free to call him if they like. Just mention "Crossfire porject" to anyone who answers the phone.
Email to group from Corky:
Program:
To produce a turbo charger system for the CrossFire:
1. Two prototypes need to be assembled before shipping any kits.
2. The fee for each proto is $3,200. This fee should be prepaid in full one week prior to arrival of the CF1 proto. The prepayment will allow purchase of all items needed before the CF arrives.
3 The CF2 needs to be at our facility four weeks after CF1 arrives. The fee of $3,200 should be prepaid one week prior to its arrival.
4. A total of ten commitments for kits must exist, not including the two prototypes. Deposits of $200 each in hand prior to beginning work on the protos.
5. Kits will be shipped in the order of deposits. However, all 10 kits will be built simultaneously.
6. Each kit must have an additional $2,000 prepayment. The prepayment is due when we begin construction of the ten kits.
7. The first ten kits shipped will be at a price of $3,600 plus freight. Various options will exist that can either add to or delete from this base price. This will be negotiated at the time of construction.
