Default Re: BEGi Crossfire Turbo Kit by Bell Experimental Group

I spoke to Corky before posting his email. I was concerned that he stated building kit at the same time and mentioned that the list we created was based one kit per week and that some requested the bottom of the list to allow for saving up. He put me at ease and said he would work with any of you individually if needed. If you notice 2 proto's and 10 kits equal 12. He is budgeting for two peoplel to drop out because "things just happen". He is only counting on 10. He also said any of you can call him if you like and his number is on his letter in post #1. He is trying very hard to provide a great kit at a very competitive price. My main concern is the amount due when kits go into production. I believe he is trying to save costs by making parts in batches instead of one at a time. This would make sense but not if we can't come up with the cash. I would rather see a deposit, then a partial payment of 50-60% when my kit is started and full payment when ready to ship and base all this on the one kit per week after the first two kits are complete.

There will be extensive testing and dyno runs. One thing to keep in mind is that if you know what you are doing you can estimate HP and torque very closely. You should expect SRT performance and with your superior trans and rear gearing you just may have some nice advantages.

Also once we have these kits there may be a stage 2 system which could give any SRT regardless of mods some real trouble. My car will hopfully be the first to test this but it involves using a AMG/SRT ECU which allows full tuning for even higher boost. Rudy gave me this idea a year or so ago to start my car from the key as he found only the Kompressor ECU can work with the key in a Crossfire. Rudy and I as well as Corky have already talked about this stage 2 idea. Rudy would supply pre-coded ECU's and then Eurocharge tunes it. Web3.0 recently went this route with Rudy's help and it worked? This was after fighting an AEM piggy back system for over a year. So once you have a kit on your car don't expect that you have reached the limit. Expect even more development by some of us crazies that you can benefits from.

PM me of you like with thoughts questions and concerns and I will talk with Corky or feel free to call him yourself.
