Default Re: Super charger questions

The srt 6 crossfire has a diff ECU, injectors, and bottom end. Its a forged crank and different pistons, for the 8 to 1 compression. I checked into tuning your computer for a supercharger, the stock computer can be changed but it must be done from a shop, like renntech ect. It has a v chip so you must have it flashed. The crossfire's drivetrain can handle 400 foot pounds torque with no mods, also information i got from renntech. I'm really looking into a custom rear mounted turbo system. I talked to STS they gave me a number to a guy in texas who can fab the pipes from the turbo to the intake. The rear mount would be simple they said since we have that kind of Y pipe in the back. The system would be around 4 grand, and put out about 1 bar aka 14.5 pounds of boost. AEM management system also can be used for your tuning and the tps sensor from the srt6 for the boost so it can read it right. They said, over all about 340 - 350 hp to the wheels, but that's an est. They said, definitely not under 300 to whp.
