Black SRT
Kleemans supercharger is a bolt on with 7 lbs boast and gives you 330 hp with-out their chip which makes it 350 hp. They have done many SLKs with which we share the power train and as of this Spring they say that they have had zero engine failures. The Xfire engine can handle 400 continuous ft lbs torque they say and we are no where near that now. According to Kleemans, the MB engine is built to withstand much more than we give it credit for and that includes the 6 speed power train.
They offer warranty also.
It all comes down to $ and a road trip.
Note: The SRT supercharger is NOT a bolt on to our regular Xfires, it has more internal changes and you would also need a new wiring harness from what I have heard.
Still waiting to hear of someone who steps up with the $ and tries the Kleeman unit.
Just think, the looks of a stock Xfire that goes like stink!
