Just as airscape, I am lowered and there is only so much room under there, couple that with the way snow piles in the middle of the road because of tire ruts, and it could spell disaster. Is Corky going to fabricate some kind of shield, even if it is an 'add on' to the kit? I think this is a good idea and even those never seeing snow may be onboard for aero benefits more than anything else...
Probably being overly paranoid, but it is certainly in the realm of possibility.
A shield is a possibility if mounting points exist. I would not count on it for aerodynamic benefits. Strictly for protecting the turbo from debris in the snow packed in the middle of the road. (Aerodynamics is a whole 'nother discussion.) You must also remember, these pipes will have an operating temperatures well above ambient and freezing temps. Turbos produce heat. Anything it touches or comes near will rapidly melt and dry. If it were my car, I would be more worried about a hidden rock or road debris in the snow. I thought everyone put their sports cars up in the winter. Not true? Miatas are like bears, they hibernate.
