I looked these up on Car-Part.com for the slk320, and all I see is an aluminum compact spare.
Don't know it that would effect the bolt length, and I seriously doubt I could fit this in my roadster trunk with the top down, so probably a moot point for me.

I'll just have to stick with the tow truck.
