A few months back I Drive 1200+ miles to Florida from NY.

Car runs great, tires perform better than expected on arrival.

Pull out of the driveway next day for a local cruise with the top down, and hear that telltale ticking sound coming from the rear driver side.

Hopng it was a rock caught in the thread, but it turned out to be a sheet metal screw.

A spare alway interested me cause I'll be making that 1200 mile trip a few times a year, but the Roadster poses an impossible situation, even with the top up.

Even if I could fit a donut in the trunk, what would one do with the regular sized wheel that just came off. The passenger seat is not an option if someone is sitting in it.

I check the tires religiously, and have learned to live with no spare.

(And NYC streets are like going 4 wheeling on a good day...LOL...)
