I would say that for an extra hour or so it would be nicer to meet up in say Leavenworth instead of Yakima. Much nicer area and lots of twisty mountain roads to have fun on. Just a thought.....
I always think about Gas / Food / loding of a central area, that is why Yakima was chosen first. More loding / Wine / Food places / time to get there / wine / central for even the BC folks / wiiinnne / sunshine / lots of wiiinnnneeee/
I am sure once we get a begining group together all kind of spots like Leavenworth etc. will come up. That is one of the reason we are trying to meet.
