As posted earlier, there are lots of fix-it and DIY threads here, also you can download all the repair and part manuals. ( I have them all on a thumb drive so I can look at them on the laptop/netbook at the car )
drop-top kit :
If you don't have the "tool", make sure you have a slim 10mm wrench, along with a 5mm hex wrench, both for manually raising and lowering the top.
Also see the thread Emergency items for Crossfire trunk
for other handy items to keep in the trunk.

I gotta say, the best decision I have made since putting a V8 in my Wrangler
Its an 05 Limited Coupe with 68K. Sapphire Blue. Dark grey interior which I guess is called Slate?
Time to start searching for a few minor repairs and upgrades needed to make this car just that much better.

For some reason I have terrible luck with the search function on here. I either get nothing, or get tons of findings when I search. Have tried titles only, and body of threads- - I don't know.
I do know I can go to google and plug in my search and google will pull up the threads from this forum better than the forums search function. Go figure.

Also its usually pretty hard to get away for a weekend with the dog and all. There is no way she is fitting in the car so that limits options quite a bit. Plus the drive through Oregon is ......................BORING........... lol!
We are going there for the wineries, and finally meeting after all these years. Good weather, and yes Oregon in not my favorite spot to go through, for most of the back roads are all 50 MPH or less. Freeway is always boring. Must have a BIG DOG, but with top down. scarf of would love to go with the master, Yakima was chosen for being central for most...my case 6.5 hour drive.

I would say that for an extra hour or so it would be nicer to meet up in say Leavenworth instead of Yakima. Much nicer area and lots of twisty mountain roads to have fun on. Just a thought.....

I am sure once we get a begining group together all kind of spots like Leavenworth etc. will come up. That is one of the reason we are trying to meet.

Decided that it was time for a change. The silver wheels just werent doing it for me so....

I am going to paint the windshield surround and door handles body color and the strakes the same color as the wheels. Later on a mesh grill will go on the front probably the same color as the wheels also. Then it just needs to sit a bit lower, have some more ponies under the hood and have significantly wider tires and I should be set....
