New guy, used car...
I decided that a Crossfire is for me. Found one in Seattle and even convinced the wife that I had to have it. Flew up to Seattle Saturday morning, made the deal, stayed the night in Seattle for New Years celebrating and drove home the following morning.
I gotta say, the best decision I have made since putting a V8 in my Wrangler
Its an 05 Limited Coupe with 68K. Aero Blue. Dark grey interior which I guess is called Slate?
Time to start searching for a few minor repairs and upgrades needed to make this car just that much better.
Edited color, the car is Aero blue, not SSB

You snagged a Crossfire in a very popular color. Congrats.
By the way, what size V8 did you put into your Jeep?

I put a Magnum 5.2 in it about a year ago. Used all factory parts to comprise the entire drivetrain, only having to make custom motor mounts to weld to the frame to mount it up. With a 12" glasspack it sounds sweet too!
Congratulations, and welcome to the forum! I think I've convinced a friend of mine from the Boise area (Melba) to look hard at the Crossfire over some other more expensive options. Maybe you'll have another in the area shortly.
I know you'll enjoy your car. I've put 10K miles on mine in just under a year, and still go into the garage occasionally, just to look at it. Take advantage of the knowledge here; I've been helped with every question so far.

Congrats on your recent purchase. These cars are a thrill to drive & be seen in. The roadster looks to be in good shape, too.
Color (I think) is Aero Blue, not SSB (Silver Sapphire Blue). Others can confirm.
Enjoy your Perma-Grin!!!

MY GOD !!! You are my long lost twin !!!
You have my house, you have my garage, you have the same stuff in the garage, and you have my car, although it is a beautiful blue, not my gorgeous red .......
As posted earlier, there are lots of fix-it and DIY threads here, also you can download all the repair and part manuals. ( I have them all on a thumb drive so I can look at them on the laptop/netbook at the car )
drop-top kit :
If you don't have the "tool", make sure you have a slim 10mm wrench, along with a 5mm hex wrench, both for manually raising and lowering the top.
Also see the thread Emergency items for Crossfire trunk
for other handy items to keep in the trunk.

The truck is slowly being restomoded. It is a 1959 Dodge Power Wagon. I have it sitting on a 1997 Ram 2500 frame right now and am slowly working on getting it fit and looking right. I want it to be completely stock looking from the outside (unless you know to look for the front pumpkin to be on the wrong side and the coils holding the front of the truck up) with very modern drivetrain so that I can cruise in it, tow with it, and just use it as a general truck without the old truck worries. It came out of a field a couple months ago where it sat for 15 years. Theres a ton of sheet metal in that thing!
Oh yeah, the car is a 6 speed.

The pump, jack, lug wrench and an almost empty of bottle of sealant are in the trunk, is there anything I am missing to go there that was put in at the factory?

Why this was not included as a standard tool, I don't know.

So I finally got around to doing a few of the mods that can be found throughout the site. Many thanks to everybody who posted it all up on here!
Got the roadster trunk latch mod so that I hopefully will never be locked out of my own trunk done.
Did the TPMS light disable mod. Decided that for the time being I will not be buying sensors so I can just undo the mod when/if the time comes. I am OCD about lights being on on my dash, and this one was an obvious no-fault, so did it and am happy.
I also did the spring removal on the cup holder so it doesnt stick up all the time. I found why it wont stay down, might even see what I can do to repair it so that it functions like it should. Apparently the tiny little plastic pin Mercedes used to retain it down wasnt strong enough and they just break off. I think I will try putting a metal pin in there in place of the plastic piece and see if it gives me satisfactory results. Everything else looks good and functions like it should so it "should" work.
Also found an allen wrench that works to pop the rear window latch free should the need arise. Its in the glove box along side the 'tool' and a tire pressure gauge because with tiny side walls you can never be too sure!
Pretty soon I am going to paint the wheels/silver trim everywhere a darker gray. Not fond of the silver theme. Will also install my nice Kenwood deck at that time, so it doesnt look so out of place.
