Default Re: Engine change

the second all the computer work becomes an issue im thinking sti boxster engine swap .should be able to get the parts for what the turbo costs.the engine has lower center of gravity and much more power.im swapping a chevy 350 into my x fire.allreddy built the engine and matted it to a 5 speed manual ,the car is now 700 lbs lighter .should be done by april 2012 will def post more than a couple pics, think the chevy 350 plays into the retro look of the car.love that retro car look just detest the ltd power and growl and refuse to pay 2200 for headers and 1300 for intake manifolds that leak.trying to upgrade the stock x fire with more than intake and tune is flat ridiculus.guess a turbo is the only avenue.hit me back
