I have been following this from the start. My sc pulley when first installed with no additional shims was a bit tight. I had already ordered the shims, and they arrived a couple days later. I installed several of the shims. I rechecked the clearance it was at .18. I had another shim left so I removed the pulley again. Added the shim ,and I had .3 clearance. Another couple days later I just check it again ,and no clearance. The unit is tight. It can be moved by hand but still pretty tight. I can move the outer ring of the pulley by hand to create the correct clearance.the next time I drive its tight again. It feels like there is very little spring action to put the unit back to spec when I shut it off. As soon as I drive the magnet in the super charger housing pulls it tight and there it stays.I do not have any noise issues that I am aware of. I am concerned that it will just wear itself out over time.
