I did not spend the money for that kit so cannot say if it is better but I can tell you it does the same thing for around $30 and the same effort to install......look at the original EC thread for the SC pulley and see my posts or look at my gallery of pics under the heading sc or pulley solution and see the pics. I have had no issues with slippage or noise of any kind. I just am cheap and kind of a do it myself kind of guy so take it for what it is worth.
