I don't know where you buy your cars, but I think you're going off the deep end. I have never had the bad experiences you seem to have had that would turn me off to a dealer or a shop. Not everyone has the time or mechanical skills to repair their own car to the extent you seem to be able to do, myself included. Even if I did, I'll be damned if I would repair and spend my own money for parts on a car that has a defect that is under warranty.
