Can't speak for anybody else, but I live in the "Rust Belt" and I drive a White car.
I still have my very first brand new car that I purchased when I was 19 years old. Trust me, if I had drove it year round, it would have dissolved years ago.

I didn't get the storage insurance taken off my car this past weekend, and Sunday was fantastic. Haven't driven my car since the end of November.
I watched the weather report for the rest of the week, and the weather girl said 80% chance of rain on Monday, with the temps never getting lower than 40's all week, and no snow in sight.
So I pull out onto Rt. 224 Monday morning (in my 10 year old Honda) and find both lanes have been covered with "salt brine" by O.D.O.T. So I'm glad my Crossfire is still parked. Even though it was beautiful today as well.
