Re: I'm the new guy
I had my Limited Crossfire through my college years. Keep in mind that in college you constantly have a need to haul your junk back and forth from home (so you have to deal with the logistics of driving a car with a small trunk all the time), you contend for parking and have to worry about the random jerk messing with your car since you'll probably leave it all over campus for extended periods of time, and you have to use your precious beer money to do things like oil changes and other maintenance, as well as some mods (as it sounds like your planning).
That all said, having the Crossfire at school was a fun experience, considering most college kids are still driving mom and dads' hand me down vehicles. But at the same time college is no high school and the opportunities to impress the ladies is not as frequent as you might think (IMO). I have actually gotten more enjoyment out of having the SRT-6 now that I am working full-time and not living in a college town - I don't have to worry about it getting messed with and I have money to work on it.
Its pretty cool to dream big so good luck. Just my 2 cents since I just went through all that.
