Who agrees with me? I feel the tsb should include replacing the headlights. Thanks.
I have had the TSB done on my 2005 Roadster Limited twice, and twice the problem returned. The Service Mgr. decided at that point to just replace both headlamps under warranty. The Service Mgr. said that in his opinion the TSB fix is not a good one and adding a vent kit (which is just a larger or extra vent) will just compound the problem. Needless to say he was right, and the condensation was worst than the first TSB fix. The passenger side headlamp looked like a fish tank. This was about 4 months ago and the condensation problem has not come back. If there is fog on the outside of the headlamp this may be an atmospheric problem or chemical related (especially if you are using the Mr. Clean Car Wash). I apply a plastic cleaner weekly (Meguiars or Mothers) and my headlamps are spotless. Below are pictures when the problem first appeared, and before the first TSB fix.
