Here's a set a bling's I saw on the local Craigslist:
Rims 5X112

Those chrome wheels are GHASTLY!!
Les is running Forgestar F14. I agree that they're beautiful, and lightweight. But there are a few things keeping me from Forgestar....
- Finish quality. Every person I've seen order these, here and on MB-World, has had issues with the finish being "good" at best. Fish-eye, pitting, runs, etc have all been noted.
- Lead time. It took one guy on MB-World EIGHT WEEKS to receive his first set after payment. These come from China. Forgestar is a division of I-Forged which has always had quality/service gripes. One of those was blemished, and it took nearly two additional months before they rectified the situation. When he received his fourth wheel, it didn't match the paint on the other three

- Price. While it's true you can get 'custom' offsets, you still must order centering rings. To me, that's a wheel that requires modification to run. If I'm shelling out $450 EACH, I want the things to be tailor-made for the car. If I have to run supplemental equipment to make them work, I may as well order TSW wheels (which also offers the same rotary-forged technology, and same weights) for 45% less money, and use H&R spacers and have the ability to play with my offsets post-purchase, for a truly perfect stance.
Sorry for the rant, I
love the design and wish all of the above was different, but it simply isn't so. Having said that, once the buyer has the wheels and is able to enjoy them, they appear to be a quality piece. I've heard no "structural" gripes from them. Just simply not worth the time/$$$ for the 2 design choices they offer. Not to mention, you stand the chance of turning the corner and seeing the F14 on a Hyundai. Kills it for me...
