I enter corners, or a set of corners at 5500 or more all the time and the car holds the gear. In S mode it won't shift until redline stock so I think your good to go. What I'd like is to be able to upshift before redline in certain situations even though I'm in manual or S mode and not yet at redline. After I iron out a few more pressing problems I'll be digging deeper into the TCU tunes myself.

My SRT-6 automatic does not. If I am at 5000RPM in second and lift to brake and set the car for entry, the car may up shifts to third or it may hold second. It's not consistan. All three SRT-6's that I have autocrossed and track driven act the same. It's not a problem during most track events as the transitions are normally smother maintaining speed and braking/shifting occur primarily before the turn. During autocross events with abrupt turns and speed changes, it's happens often.
