great. few questions. well it holds gear any better then stock? autocross wise if the car spins out of the hole it will throw it into 2nd. are these tunes better at not doing this?

I need this Rudy. PM me with the details. My track schedule will dictate when I can put it in the mail.

The thing that I drag race not autocross,I can't answer that question, I can tell you that one I put it in manual mode, on my car it ships at 6400 RPM, but I can shifted at 6000 if I want to.you and Les need one of these in your car and go to the autocross and let everybody know that it does or does not hold the gear jim

So yours shifts at 6400 with this mod? Others were saying is shifts right at 6000. Did you have yours tuned different or are there options for the automatic shift point?

Hello,

Been here lurking looking up information for the 2005 SRT-6 coupe that I had bought January of this year. Any information on what TCM reprogramming works well without driveability issues? I have noticed that the eurocharged TCM upgrade had issues years ago and wondered if that was fixed or not.?

Thanks,

Dylan

i would like to know too. I have the same transmission in my Challenger and it shifts like a boss, especially when in Sport mode. The SRT-6 shifts like a grandma's car in comparison. I too was thinking of the Eurocharged upgrade.

Just electronically spoke with Marcin @ SD and they are currently busy moving to a new shop. He said in 10+ days he can offer their performance Trans Module upgrade.

I had expressed concerns about the Eurocharged TCU upgrade (for the SRT6 and SLK32) some years back as there seemed to be some minor issues with the tune. Eurochrarged reflashed my TCU (presumably with an updated version of their tune) and I re-installed and have been completely satisfied with it ever since (2-3 years now).

I would not hesitate to recommenced the Eurocharged TCU for the SRT6.

hope that answers your question.
Chris

That's good to hear that Eurocharged has addressed the issues and concerns. I was really wondering.

Thanks,

Mike

I am a little confused by this post (given that it starts with "I hope that answers your question" ... whose question? )

However, since you quoted my post and asked about manual mode I will reply....
... I rarely use manual mode although when I have it seems to behave the same as the (factory) manual mode in my sl55 (including shifting up at redline which is proper in my opinion). Manual mode is a lot of fun on my slk (particularly with the paddle shifters), but I find that sport mode on the eurocharged tuned TCU is great and more convenient for everyday driving (and still a lot of fun with the paddles).

IIRC, the problem(s) with the original tune were funky shifts (2 to 3rd , 3rd to 2nd) and some inexplicable effect on fueling during 1/4 mile runs (both issues seem to be cleared up with the newer tune).

Hope that helps,
Chris
