I think I have #1, I don't think #2 but maybe.
Very pleased with how the car behaves. Holds a gear when I let off the throttle, firm shifts... Thats all I can remember, it's been a while since I had it out in the sun

Only one version, firmer shifts and better torque management. No change in the rev limiter or manual mode which is just an invitation for a lean condition under heavy load. The rear gear ratio change is something different and is not included with the trans software upgrade.

You only have half of #1. No race mode per say as when it's in "S" mode, it means business! LOL Something to note, this only affects the "S" mode and not the "W" mode so you still retain driveablity during less than optimal driving conditions.

Thanks for the updates.

So the "S" manual and automatic (D) mode are controlled and operate as OEM just modified for faster and sharper/firmer up and down shifts. And the "W" mode remains unchanged. Wet or icy conditions switch to "W" mode, if normal driving condition leave in "S" and drive in auto (D) or manual, car shifts are normal RPM based up on throttle position. Is this right? sorry for beating a dead horse here.....

Everyone is still happy. I don't see a down side to this mod.

I can order one plus a core, install, test, and send the original TCU back for core refund?

I just stumbled onto this thread and am interested in this mod. Can someone please explain in more detail where the TCU is and how to remove it?

This is correct, nothing changed on "W" mode and when it's in left in "D" on "S" mode, it'll knock out some nice firm shifts.

Sorry if I'm a Johnny come lately, but is this available at Speedriven? Or where should we get this done? I don't see us represented on Speedriven website(either the old or the new site).
Do they still like us?

If it changes the torque management, has anyone put it on a dyno to see the difference?

I have this mod and love the crisper shifts. Don't have before or after numbers for comparison but to me it was well worth it.

Rudy, I tried to email you at this address and it was kicked back.

If this mod is still available I would be interested in the next week or two. I just need to know the specifics (payment method, process, etc.). Thanks

Sorry about that, my email is rcompart@gmail.com. The price is $400 + core and you can paypal me at the same address. I can do it two ways, send you out a TCU with the software on it and when I get your working TCU back, I will refund the core or you can send in yours and then there isn't a core charge. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Take care

Thanks. I like the idea of no down time with the core refund option. Come on tax return
