I don't know about Australia, but I think I am right is saying, that a Gallon in the U.S.A. is not as big in volume as a gallon in Britain. (I.E. a pint in the U.S.A. is 20 Fl Oz, in Britain it is 22 Fl Oz) That works out 16 Fl Oz different per gallon.
By all means correct me if I am wrong someone.
While on this subject, Think U.S.A. Gas is expensive, in Britian gas is approx 3.45 pounds/litre which equates to 12.45 Dollar/gallon. Maybe one of you U.K. members could confirm that.
