That's the thing about the N54, they need meth or major cooling upgrades if they're pushing more than about 380bhp. There's a reason Dinan will deny warranty coverage on their stage 3 tune which only brings you from about 350bhp to 398bhp.

The N54 is a capable motor, but so was the LT1 once you worked out the problems. From what I've seen it has major cooling and fuel issues that have to be rectified, and even then you need to upgrade the turbos if you plan on pushing more than 400whp, unless you want to run meth everywhere you go.

All in all the fastest no nitrous time for the 135i was set by ACR running 11.5@125. That's nothing to scoff at, but that was a motor where the only thing left stock was the bottom-end and it was on meth. You can achieve 11.5 in the SRT6 with far less.

One last thing, the 6-speed vs the auto, that's what the AMG Speedshift upgrade is for
Theres a local guy running 11.5's with meth and boltons. Theres absolutely no headwork needed to get these things deep in the 11's. Although my days of hwy and street racing are long gone. One could appreciate a fast hwy car. I rather trap 120 over 115 Anyday. Actually the fastest stock turbo 135i is 11.2. Boltons and meth. As much as i love the SRT-6. We cannot touch these cars mod for mod. Its only a matter of time before someone gets a 10 sec run with the stock turbos no nitrous
