Hope that helps.
Anyway, 1,000 thank yous on the video. I saw the procedure in the manual, but somehow your video got me to go out and try it. I have the official emergency wrench, but they do NOT provide an allen wrench to start the process! I now have the right sized wrench in the flap between the seats with the emergency wrench. I put it down manually, but put it up electrically. In reality, I'd probably be putting it UP manually, but I get the procedure.
Also, mine did NOTHING when I tried to release pressure, but that makes sense, since in the NORMAL operation of the top, there is no pressure in the system unless you are putting it up or down. And even part way thru, if you stop the process, after about 10 minutes, all pressure is released anyway and everything relaxes - even if this means that the top is in a position where things should NOT relax!
Read about this in section 23 of the manual, mostly page 23-482!
I made the call over a month ago to Chrysler...my case worker turned me down, as did the person I appealed to...wrote directly to the CEO, Sergio Marchione...nothing has helped so far...
As for the video...not a problem...been meaning to do it, had the time yesterday...got a lot accomplished, including fixing my top, and solving a problem with the tonneau flaps that get some paint chipped off...
