Default Comments about this work of art (Crossfire)

First of all I want one BUT I need to pay off my existing car (that my wife drives now). I should be ready to purchase in maybe 6 months or so.

Actually Im also waiting for the Crossfire to finally sell for 29.995 AND also get 0% Financing. Its hard to believe some dealers were/are trying to sell these for 37k or more. I think dealers who "markup" from sticker prices should be punished. Cars are expensive enough and I hate any type of price gouging.

Ive been reading lots of posts on here and have noted several problems with the Crossfire (noises, Radio, wind noise, ETC... ) and hope its only a early production problem and that the later productions have been corrected. It would be nice to see a page that shows a timeline or Vin number list of which Vin # have which problems. Another way could be users posting their Crossfire's color, transmission and last Few digits of VIN # and name all problems they had since purchasing. (and maybe how easy to get resolved).

-----Now a few questions---------------

1. What is the info on the Chrysler extended warranty. Do you recomend it? Is it hassle free? What is the details with it on the Crossfire? How much is it.

2. Does this car use the fiber optics that Mercedes uses in their cars? (like SLK)

3. Why didn't Chrysler use the Mercedes style Radio that SLK has? I saw it in the photo area here on some of the photos of the car. It looked great and only needs a CD Changer to be complete.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Its nice to see a unique car on the road with all the ricers out there. Im so tired of all the goofy Hondas and such with stickers and tails. Crossfire is a car I feel will look classy (Perfect for a 40 yr old like me).

Thanks to the CrossfireFoum and all members Danwell in Texas
