There is no hissing noise. The key does turn but does not unlock the car. There is simply no response from the key fob whatsoever. No lights are activated when the key fob is used, either.

The manual says this could be an accessory drive belt failure.

Anyone else have a different take? It drove fine this morning on the way to work...6 hours later I started it up and the steering was done.

And does anyone have an idea of how much one of these belts costs to replace?
