Ahh, good ideas, especially the tire gauge idea. I also check my tires regularly with a tire gauge. The other day, my low tire monitor came on. Found the right rear tire just a tad below spec. Inflated it correctly, indicator went out as it should.
With no book and no car, I'm not positive, but I think I don't have the tire monitor on my base version.
The up side (from what I've read) is that if I use the goo, it won't clog up what's not there.
