Simply saying "use a bigger one" is no help to most people, so I told them the exact size. What's to over think anyway?
Excuse me for trying to help. 
the help was noted. my point was the oring kit from harbor freight costs about 6$ and there arent many who would measure to fit. they would just find the next size thicker
