Why waste $6 on a kit of O-rings which may or may not have the correct size and most of which you'll never need, when you can buy the correct O-ring for <25 cents if you know the size at a hardware or auto store?

The correct size O-ring comes with the oil filter, I'm not sure if it's one of those used but you could always use the old one anyway.
