What he said. ( Crossfire is no different than other modern computerized cars, they all are at risk when someone screws up on a jump start ..... )

I carry one of those portable battery thingeys in the trunk, when you hook it up, it has lights that indicate that all is well BEFORE you turn on the main switch in it to connect the 2 batteries together. This thing WONT start the car, but after about 10 minutes of being connected, the main battery is awake enough to do the job.
It's also handy to charge other stuff like cell phones, or run a portable radio/TV.
