Sorry your having this problem. I suggest you get under the rear of the car and remove the right side rubber plug where the lower bin is (left side is the tire repair kit, right side is where the central locking pump is located). When you remove that rubber plug, if water pours out, then you found your problem. The central locking module is all wet. Fixing this could be expensive. You have to dry all this stuff out and that involves removing all the trim panels and getting into those bins to get that module out. The coupe involves removing the trim from the upper sides, the sides, the lower rear (to allow access to the foam inserts in the bottom of the trunk where the flat repair kit is) and then removing the central locking module in the right side bin. I don't know how the roadster comes apart, maybe someone with experience in this model can chime in to help you. Again, first take out the rubber plug under the rear right side bin of the car. Thanks, I will try removing the plug. We were looking at trying to remove all the liner in the trunk, just didn't know were to start. Looking for a service manual to help. yeh I was thinkingthat it would be expensive. It just does not want to stop raining long enough for us to work on it any length of time. Thanks.
