Re: BEGi Crossfire Turbo Kit by Bell Experimental Group
BoilerupXFire, you might want to cover your beer.
it's not the wait, it's not about having patience. It's about how we do business, tell me 6+ months then so be it.
Airscape, I found that very educational, I had no idea what part of the Crossfire,Vinyl Figures were. A quick Google search told what they were and what you do in your private life if your business. I happy to see you are happy with your supplier telling you 6+ months. Had he told you 8 to 10 weeks you would still be happily waiting, so for that a big"atta boy" to you.
I would like to implement this strategy in my workplace. First I would have to write a Manual on how to brainwash people that we were the only company that could do the job. We will come up with a catch phrase like "MORE GRUEL PLEASE SIR"
Of course we will take orders , promising them deadlines, with no intentions of meeting them at all. Then we will push forward on the big money accounts, leaving the small account on the back-burner. 8 to 10 weeks ,8 to 10 months, oh well
Heck we are just doing them a favor anyhow. "MORE GRUEL PLEASE SIR"
We will implement this strategy in our workplace too, not just for the customer.
I would have to write the Manual myself, because if I pass it to another Dept. and they read it, and implement these changes there would be no telling when I would get it back.
Take sick time, greatly reduced because the pressure of deadlines would be removed. Unfortunately the savings in sick time would be eaten up with the new people we would need to hire to man the phones and say to the customer"patience"
I'll be up all night writing these manuals to implement tomorrow in my workplace and let you know how it goes.
I know a lot of you say these Crossfire are quirky to work on . Yes I see these Crossfires have morphed into so many different things. Making it hard to work on.
Just the other week or so on the forum I saw one turning into a Honda, it was starting at the front lip spoiler.
Now if we could only get one to morph into a Chinese turbo. we would have something .
It's not a transformer it's a crossfire! Same car they have been looking at for 6 months, how quirky can it be.
Fathers day rant
