Default Re: FLowmaster exhaust

For an additional cost, the muffler shop can likely fab up a pipe with the proper flange connector and make the new unit a true bolt-on.

Most members simply have a shop cut the pipe and weld the new muffler in place. The 2.25" pipe can easily be flared an additional .125" on each radius, for the .25" overall needed.

Some members here have run the Flowmaster, and the sound is a bit less refined than an Ansa muffler, or even the Magnaflow. IMO this car sounds great with both the raspy note and the mellow European note provided by the Ansa. I'd recommend browsing the 30 or so YouTube videos and see which tones you prefer.

Stock tips would have to be taken from the vehicle, unfortunately.
