Lightbulb Flowmaster exhaust

Hey people, I am looking into buying a Flowmaster Super 44 Series Muffler, Link: FLOWMASTER SUPER 44 MUFFLER 2.5" CENTER/DUAL 2.5" | eBay

This would mean I would have to upgrade to a 2.5 inch inlet piping.
Is there a place I can buy this piping pre-made?
Also, I would like to use the stock muffler tips, but I can't find a website that sells them.
I would like to save my stock exhaust system in case I want or need to revert back to stock.... So when I install new piping, will they ruin my old assembly during the installation?

Just need a crash course on what's involved during a catback exhaust installation
Thanks!

For an additional cost, the muffler shop can likely fab up a pipe with the proper flange connector and make the new unit a true bolt-on.

Most members simply have a shop cut the pipe and weld the new muffler in place. The 2.25" pipe can easily be flared an additional .125" on each radius, for the .25" overall needed.

Some members here have run the Flowmaster, and the sound is a bit less refined than an Ansa muffler, or even the Magnaflow. IMO this car sounds great with both the raspy note and the mellow European note provided by the Ansa. I'd recommend browsing the 30 or so YouTube videos and see which tones you prefer.

Stock tips would have to be taken from the vehicle, unfortunately.

I had this type of flowmaster super 44 muffler installed about a month ago, here is the thread I started about it. HOWEVER, I did a SINGLE OFFSET IN, SINGLE CENTER OUT 2.5in style. Go to flowmasters super 44 page and scroll down and you will see it. In my first post you will see the video I made, so you will know exactly what it will sound like ( I have a manual crossfire, may sound different in a automatic). The shop I brought it to increased the piping to 2.5 to match the muffler size as you were speaking of. And then I chose single in dual exhaust tips that I liked which were from a C6 corvette. Your prob wondering why I did a single offset in muffler and thats because the dual muffler in like the one you posted, are to far apart from stock, so there wont be any room for the exhaust tips to fit in the exhaust section of the car if you welded them back on. Trust me, just do my setup and it will be a piece of cake. The shop will have the piping, so dont worry about that.
