Hiyall! SLK32 AMG stock.
So I'm looking to mod my 32. I've been reading this and other forums and have gotten a lot of good info. Now I'm looking to create a "road map" to awesomeness! sheesh
I want to prioritize my mods using the following criteria:
- Bang for the buck (HP per $)
- Bolt-on w/ little to no additional mods (competent shade tree mechanic stuff)
- Bad a$$ coefficient (I'd rather be fast than look fast! But a nice exhaust note is good, too!)
- Reliability (SC pulley issues come to mind)
- Safety for the drivetrain/engine (can't afford to fry an engine)
What are y'all's opinions regarding what to do first and what other concerns I need to take into consideration?
My list (in no particular order):
- Dual CAI
- IC cooler/isolation (I already have installed a CM30)
- SC and/or Crank Pulley and PSK
- ECU Tune
I've posted a similar thread at the SLK-AMG forum, but didn't get much of a response. You folks seem to be a little more into the "mod scene". Thanks for your input...
