Default Re: plastic jacking point block

My OEM jacking point pads are also a little buggered up (by the previous owner). What I do is use a 3/4" rubber pad (small piece of horsestall mat) to sit on top of my floor jack. It conforms to plastic pad, protects, and prevents slip outs. I don't sweat the OEM pads being less than perfect because you can't see them without getting upside down, and also they were meant to, well, jack up the car with. I cut a smaller piece for the jacking points, and a larger one to cradle the rear diff. pumpkin. This material holds up to my 4 ton truck; tough stuff.
