Default Radar Detector Hardwiring / Head Unit / Odds & Ends

Hello All,

Me again.

I had a 9500IX that was hardwired in my S197 Mustang, the Stang had to go, so I took the harness, detector out.

I did the installation today. I didn't have to go through the firewall, thankfully. I found a easier way to wire it.

I swap out the head unit the second day I got the car. Made a wiring harness for the OEM harness, so when I want to switch back to OEM, I can. It's a cheap *** Walmart head unit, I know, but I just want iPod Playback/Charging function in the same time. I tried a FM module in Mustang, HATED it....Since there's no simple playback/charging solution for Crossfire, then swap out the head unit seem to be the logical way to go.

Pictures? Sure!

Overall:

9500IX on window, I'll get a better mount sometime later, but for now, it serves its purpose.
