Congrats on having intelligent offspring I was accepted to GT, and toured the campus but decided it wasn't really for me. It is a great school and the campus, for the most part, is fantastic. Unfortunately, right outside school grounds is still a city full of homelessness and desperate criminals. I read an article in my local paper a few days ago about an increasingly popular movement to allow students with gun permits to carry on campus; some school officials are even on board. At this point, I'm all for it. I'm tired of hearing that another student or teacher was robbed.

I imagine she already knows this, but make sure your daughter uses the buddy system. I know it seems juvenile, but it works.

Anyway......back to the cars!
