Overall very happy with my xfire i will be writing a more in depth piece on my experience as a new owner with pics when i have sorted out an engine issue with the dealer.
I noticed a burning smell the other day so decided to lift the bonnet and have a look.
To my horror as a new owner there was smoke coming from the drivers side , similar but not quite as much as a kettle boiling.
It appeared to becoming from the manifold drivers side, i noticed a wet patch on the manifold heat shield which appeared to be the cause of the smoke.
I am hoping it is not a head gasket , but i have no idea what it could be.
My saving grace is with the deal on the car , i received a 30 day engine and gearbox warranty.
Bit disappointed at the moment as i have only had the car for 3 days.
